Here’s the truth most people don’t want to admit—quantity actually beats quality, especially when you’re just starting out

Why Quantity Matters
When you obsess over making every video “perfect,” you stall your growth. You spend weeks editing one video, put enormous pressure on how it performs, and lose momentum when the views don’t match the effort.
On the other hand, uploading more frequently gives you:

More data for YouTube to understand your audience.

More practice to sharpen your skills faster.

More chances for one video to break through and go viral.

More confidence because every upload feels less high-stakes.
Think of it like training. Athletes don’t practice once a week and expect to go pro—they put in reps every single day. Your early YouTube uploads are the same.
My Advice for Creators
If you’re new or struggling to gain traction, aim for at least two videos a week. If you can manage three, even for a short season, do it. You’ll learn faster, grow faster, and build the consistency YouTube rewards.
Does this mean quality doesn’t matter? Of course not. But true “quality” on YouTube isn’t about fancy editing—it’s about creating intentional, purposeful content that resonates with your audience. And you can only discover what works by doing more.

Quantity creates the conditions for quality to emerge. Don’t wait for perfection—just upload, learn, and keep going. That’s how every successful creator I’ve worked with built their channel.
