I like to enjoy everything that I do. The purpose of my YouTube channel when I first started it was to help you all. I do not like to feel as if I am doing things to make me happy. I want to do videos to make you guys happy. That is how I live my life as well. I guess I am a helpful person. As well as making me happy, my husband happy, my family, I like to make everyone else happy as well. I like to do all sorts of videos. I try to to push out the positivity as much as I can. There are a lot of things happening out there in the world and we can get distracted so if we can have a few of us out there pushing the love, then why not.
With being sect and indian it is not a known thing at all. In our community, if you are doing anything with makeup it was not good enough You had to do something of a higher profession. A doctor, a lawyer an accountant. For me, it was jumping out of the box and it stuck with me. What is my family going to think what are my friends going to think, what is the public going to think. I did it, I carried on doing it and I loved it.
To begin with, people did not understand why I did it. Why are you showing makeup, what benefit are you getting out of it. Makeup is art and skills. I think that’s what people forget. It’s skills. Makeup artists have a lot of skills. If other people come along and do it, they wouldn’t be able to do it like we do.
