I spend every waking hour studying, analyzing and watching YouTube. I live, breathe and sleep all things YouTUbe and through my coaching and courses, I bring that knowledge and expertise to you.

Starting from the beginning...

… I am from Southern California and pursued my education locally. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University magna Cum laude and valedictorian nominee (yes, I loved school lol), I had several career paths. I started my post graduate career as a commercial real estate agent where I sold over 50 million dollars worth of commercial property and then went onto launch and then eventually sell a licensed apparel sports clothing line for women with my sister. Our line was sold at stadium and university stores and featured logos from California sports teams such as the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Warriors and California universities. Neither of those ventures truly felt like my calling. I enjoyed them and saw some success, but I always felt that there was something else I should be doing.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the behind the scenes of YouTube. It was especially intriguing in the early 2010s, because there just wasn’t a lot of information about YouTube creators, business owners, entrepreneurs and overall visionaries when it came to doing something so new (at the time) like uploading videos onto a public platform and eventually monetizing that “hobby”.

So, because of that, in 2014, I launched The YouTube Power Hour podcast, a weekly show where I interview female YouTube creators about their journeys as YouTube content creators and eventually successful entrepreneurs.

It all started with the podcast...

I am proud to say at this point, nearly 8 years later, there is a free library of nearly 400 interviews on the podcast with incredible and well known YouTubers such as Lydia Elise Millen, Karina Garcia, Natalia Taylor, Emily Noel, Michelle Khare, Shea Whitney, Dr. Drae and many many many more. I hear daily how much the interviews have inspired people to start their own channels, help them keep going when things get tough and give much needed advice and insight into being successful on YouTUbe.

A few years into the podcast, I began receiving requests for coaching from both the guests of my podcast and my podcast audience. In 2017, I began coaching YouTube creators as a “side hustle” while also working full-time.

After having my second daughter and as a busy working mom of two under two, I needed to make a decision about the direction I wanted my “side-hustle” to go. Either I move on from it or buckle down and finally create the YouTube coaching program I’ve been thinking of doing for years.

It was a no-brainer for me, I was SO passionate about helping and coaching YouTube creators that I couldn’t let this nagging feeling go that THIS was my calling. So, I buckled down and went “all-in” January 2018 when my second daughter was only 3 months old.

This was when my signature program, The Zero to Influence youTube bootcamp was born.

Deep down, I knew that the current methods being taught weren’t working for a lot of female-focused YouTube channels. I had a different approach, and it seemed to be working! My unique approach focuses on the creator first, not the YouTube algorithm which the vast majority of YouTube experts were and still are teaching. This innovative method of prioritizing the creator, not the algorithm, has proven to be highly successful, delivering massive growth for my clients and students.

Fast track several years and I’ve had the pleasure of personally coaching nearly 1,000 YouTube creators through my programs and coaching including Emzotic, Shea Whitney, Erin Busbee, Kiva Brent, Lisa J Makeup, Lorry Hill, Marnie Goldberg and many many more.

I now also manage and grow YouTube channels for busy professionals through my Strategic Channel Management agency.

I’m in the trenches with you.

At any given time I’m running several female-centric YouTube channels through my agency, coaching a dozen YouTube creators and providing support and coaching to my bootcamp students. I live, breathe and sleep YouTube strategy (especially for women!). My courses and coaching are based on real-life experiences and reveal how I am adjusting to the ever changing algorithm and female audience trends plus what it takes to grow multiple channels with different audiences, niches and video concepts. Having a ton of subs and views and focusing on vanity metrics isn’t the goal or a good long term strategy. I want to see women making money (and lots of it) through their efforts on YouTube. I believe success on YouTube starts with the creator, not the algorithm.

Too many people focus on understanding the algorithm and think a lack of understanding is the reason they aren’t seeing the growth they want. That couldn’t be further from the truth! Your success starts with knowing and understanding YOU and structuring your YouTube strategy around that, not the algorithm. I see so many women get onto youtube and think they have to do a certain niche or video type because that is what everyone else is doing. Niche misalignment is a thing and my role is to help you better understand where you fit in on youtube to get the fastest ROI on your time and investment on this platform.
